The stakes
For Scotland this is a generational night — their first World Cup finals appearance since France 98, in front of a Boston crowd that will sound a lot like Glasgow. For Haiti it's only their second World Cup ever, the first since 1974, and arguably the biggest match in the country's footballing history. Group C also contains Brazil and Morocco, so both sides know this match is their most realistic route to points: lose it and the group becomes a mountain.
